A real couples session in Brooklyn, with the Manhattan Bridge in the background.

Preselected package

Mini Memories

30 minutes - 15 edited photos - $225 - $65 deposit

Perfect for quick sessions.

What you book

This page is for two people who want portraits in New York City - a honeymoon walk, an anniversary, or a trip where you are tired of being the one behind the phone. Pictorix sends a vetted local. You do not choose the photographer. You choose the length.

Mini Memories is preselected here: 30 minutes, 15 edited photos, one location, $225, $65 deposit. If you want two looks or a slower pace, the 60-minute Timeless Moments package is $275 with a $75 deposit, and the 90-minute Forever Frames package is $355 with a $95 deposit.

The photographer plans the spots and the light. You show up. That is the same product as the city page, written for couples instead of a generic visitor.

Best time and light

Couples frames look better when the sun is low. Book the first hour after sunrise or the last hour before sunset if you can. Mid-day works in open shade - a park path under trees, the shadowed side of a street - but it is not the hour we would pick if you have a choice.

Overcast days are useful in this city. The sky becomes a large soft light and you lose the hard line under the chin. We do not cancel for cloud cover.

If one of you is in work clothes and the other is in travel clothes, say so. Thirty minutes is long enough for one outfit, not a hotel change. The 60- and 90-minute packages have room for a second look if you plan the change nearby.

Meeting point

Your photographer sends the meeting point before the session. Typical pins are a subway exit, a park gate, or a corner by the bridge you asked for. There is no studio check-in.

Come as a pair. If one person is late, the 30-minute clock still starts at the booked time. The 60- and 90-minute packages have more room for a late subway.

Crowds

A couples session does not need an empty landmark. What it needs is a few feet of sidewalk and a photographer who already knows when a block is used as a thoroughfare. Weekend afternoons on the High Line and the Brooklyn Bridge walkway are slow. Weekday mornings are faster.

If you want the Manhattan Bridge behind you in DUMBO, read the sibling page for that corner. It is a real, busy place. We can still make a clean frame from the edge of the street. We cannot empty it.

Rain backup

Light rain on dark pavement is usable. Hard rain is not. We reschedule unsafe weather and keep the deposit on the new date. If you want a covered plan from the start, write that in the notes - a market, a station, or a hotel canopy that is open to the public.

We do not invent an indoor studio. Pictorix is a location session with a local, not a rented room.

What is in the gallery

Mini Memories delivers 15 edited photos. Timeless Moments delivers 25. Forever Frames delivers 40. Delivery is a private gallery within 48-72 hours. Prints from a lab partner are available on request; we do not mail a box by default.

You can tell us you want more walking and fewer posed stands, or the reverse. The photographer still runs the session. They will not spend the half hour on one doorway if the light has already moved.

Can we pick the neighborhood?
You can tell us a neighborhood or a landmark in the notes. The photographer still plans the exact pin and the light.
Is this the same as an engagement shoot?
The packages are the same. If you want the DUMBO / Manhattan Bridge corner specifically, use the DUMBO engagement page.
